Unite 4 Africa, Inc. is overseen by an Executive Board of Directors that is comprised of individuals who are committed to the mission, vision, and integrity of the organization.

Scott Pattison Board Chairman
Scott Pattison has two wonderful children, Andrew and Melissa. He is currently an agent with American Family Insurance in Tucson, Arizona and has been with the company since 1995. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing with a Minor in Communications from the University of Arizona.
Scott began his professional career in the travel industry. He arranged group travel to Hawaii, Mexico and Jamaica. In 1988 he gave his life to Christ and was baptized in San Jose, California. In 1994, he moved with his family back to Tucson, Arizona where he was born and raised. About this time, he joined Pantano Christian Church, where he organized a Men’s Ministry in 1994 and began working with Amor Ministries building homes in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. In 2001, Scott joined the team of One on One Partners, a mentoring organization that joins at risk youth with adults to bring balance to the children’s lives. After serving as the board president for One on One Partners, God began to change Scott’s heart by opening him to different opportunities.
Scott got involved with Unite 4 Africa when he met Okongo, the Founder and President of Unite 4 Africa and together in 2008 they made a trips to Ghana, Kenya and Ethiopia where U4A has been working. During their mission trips, they trained local leaders, presented the Scriptures in Use program to the local communities and visit some of the projects U4A has initiated in Africa. They trained several leaders to story tell the Bible to illiterate tribesman and also involved in developing leadership teams to work with U4A. They met with a number of communities and religious leaders to discuss how to empower Africa better. During their time in Africa, he travel to different villages and was given Sub-Chief tittle "Barbibodgu Naa" by a group of Chiefs led by Tarikpaa Village Chief, who is also a Muslim leader. Barbibobgu means “The lover of mankind.”
He has become very passionate for the basic needs of the people pf Africa and believe Unite 4 Africa vision and strategies to empower Africans to transform there communities through different program U4A initiate is what Africa needs. Africa will transform itself and we only need to partner with them and as a result of the trips he was led to be one of the Board of Directors and in 2009 elected Board Chairman.'Serving in Africa is a call and is a life changing'.
